Accuracy is a measure of the agreement of a value of a variable in a sample with a known or “true” value. If we have replicate samples, we can measure them in comparison to standard reference materials with known values as spiked matrix samples. Finally, the data from split or replicate samples can provide an estimate of accuracy.
